It’s great to see Simon and Anita back at the Spotted Dog. The food is absolutely fantastic especially Simon’s signature Bread and Butter Pudding ! Ambience is warm and welcoming and the back room is quiet if you prefer it. Back to the food, I have NEVER had a bad meal at the Spotted Dog. If you need something special then, given enough notice, Simon can accommodate. If you have not been yet then you must visit, if you have been in the past you must return.

Always maintains the same high standards. First time visit for our friends, they were very impressed and said we were very fortunate to have such a restaurant so close. Other so called “fine dining ” establishments in the vicinity could take a leaf out their book regarding value / price ratio.Thanks again Spotted Dog

Menu is excellent. Staff are very friendly. We visited on a quiet midweek, but on a weekend I would expect to have to book. Liver and bacon, bread and butter pudding just too good! Can’t wait to go back.
